  • Engineers applying for an EA skills assessment through the CDR
  • Civil, structural, geotechnical, transport and other engineers

  • Follows EA’s January 2026 application guide and June 2025 writing guide
  • The tracker shows every element mapped to real paragraph numbers before you fill in the summary statement

Important: Not affiliated with or endorsed by Engineers Australia. Guidance only: check EA’s current documents before you submit, and write your application yourself.

Questions

Does it include sample career episodes?
No, by design. Engineers Australia rejects applications written by a third party and can ban applicants for 12, 24 or 36 months. The toolkit gives you structure, questions and checks so you can write your own.
Is it up to date?
It follows EA’s January 2026 application guide and June 2025 writing guide. EA plans to move migration assessments to its new 2026 competency standard around mid-2027; the toolkit will be updated when the CDR format changes.
Which occupations does it suit?
Any engineering occupation assessed through the CDR. The examples focus on civil engineering and related fields.
Can I use AI to write my episodes?
We advise against it. EA treats work written by others as plagiarism, and AI-drafted text is not your own writing.
What if something does not work?
If a file is faulty or does not match this page, use the contact form and we will fix it or refund you.
